In accordance with international flight regulations, and in order to safeguard the health of our other passengers during the flight, passengers with certain medical conditions are not accepted onboard.
Passengers with non-contagious illnesses that do not present any medical hindrance to travel are accepted onboard,as long as they bring a doctor’s note, dated not more than 10 days before the flight, which states that there is no particular reason for them not to fly.
Passengers with a disability, or whose mobility is temporarily impaired, are accepted either alone or with a companion, depending on their state of health.
We suggest that our passengers arrive at the airport at least 1 hour before domestic flights and 2 hours before international flights so that flight procedures can be completed on time.
Unfortunately, during the flight the cabin crew cannot help you in matters related to breathing apparatuses, food, monitoring medication, or restroom needs. However, they can assist you with opening your meal cover and the plastic pack of utensils, and also to travel to and from the restroom.
Passengers with a physical disability who can take care of their personal needs during the flight can travel on their own without a companion. However, passengers who are unable to take care of their personal needs must be in the care of a companion in order to join the flight. Passengers with a mental disability can only board the flight in the care of a companion.
